I went to magnolia pier hoping for herring. I caught spearing on the sabitiki rig. This will be my last trip there until the herring show up. They told me to fish the beaches over there for bass. I am from Queens do I need a permit or pay when I fish at the beach in long beach. Might try captree piers or another pier. Tight lines

No permit needed. Just park in a legal spot. Go catch yourself a BASS before it’s too late
