Had the Jerry party of 4 join me all the way from Maine while on vacation yesterday. Jerry wanted to see grandson Hunter tangle with some hard fighting fish and the Blues in Plum Gut were happy to oblige. Caught a dozen ranging from 4-12# mostly on bucktails and also landed and released 8 small Stripers for 3 hours effort on the ebb.

Next moved north of Plum around the slack and put another 9 beautiful Sea Bass in the box to 3# along with several nice Scup. So, the crew went home with 4 of the smaller Blues for the smoker and a nice bag of Sea Bass filet for the dinner table.

Can’t believe August is here already and it will be a busy month. However, there is still one Sunday open, 8/15, which is prime time to cash in on Montauk Fluke.
