no weaks at all but I hit low slack and only stuck around for half the incoming. eel grass somewhat annoying. the current picked up by the time I left
which was when I caught three 17" fluke on teasers, the buck and with Gulp. First "biteoff" of a Gulp today. Never felt it and the poor pink Gulp suffered death by a half dozen bites from the look of it. Blowfish ? snappers? Haven't seen or heard of either yet.

I had a similar encounter while jigging bucktail & teaser both with 6" chartreuse Gulp. I felt small taps while jigging. When I reeled up, I had nub with 3 nice sized triggerfish follow it to the surface.
I put a porgy rig out with some Fishbites (Mole/Sand crab flavor). I caught a bunch of nice, big triggers after that. Lotsa' fun.
