Sorry for the late report. Fished outside JI at a reef. With the weather being ideal, most of the closer reefs were backed by 8:00 a.m. Went a little further then I usually do and found a reef with only 30 boats on it LOL. Glad the gas tank was full. Fished 80 to 100 feet of water. I saw a boat the was chumming heavy and we stayed 30 feet behind their drift and limited out on sea bass within 2 hours. Also had a few fluke but only one keeper, other fish included sea robins, ling and mackerel. We were back at the dock by 1:00 p.m. I may need to take a sick day during the week.

I was out of Jones Inlet on the Hempstead reef and caught 3 keeper flukes in less than two hours. Biggest one was 25 inches. My dang battery ran out on my camera while I was recording, but I posted the video anyway and showed the catch later here:
