incoming from 9 to 3. inlet to CG to Big M to 2nd Wantagh and up Great Island Channel. 3 of us tallied 20+ short fluke, 8 to 18", robins and a huge skate or ray, all on pink and white Gulp.
HOT ! the weather that is. first real nice day (although hot) with no possibility of rain brought out a LOT of boats. Never tried backbay today

probably not worth it - water back there is probably too warm to hold fish

At least there was a little bend in the rods water is super warm in the back bays also home to those annoying green flies

I used “Bullfrog “ a combo sunscreen and insect repellent today. Walmart. Seemed to be effective on both counts
