backbay still dead

First time out in a week. Just one 16" fluke at dead low slack (!). Eel grass and green flies about. tomorrow will use the boat and head towards the bridges. Checking my log last year (although we were watching our friend's dog for a bit of the month), most of July in the back bay stunk. Not until it got to the point (late July) where you could walk across the creek on the backs of peanut bunker, with bait-size snappers chasing them, did it get better. Hoping for a re-run. I can wait.
