Had one of my sons come out today for a sea bass trip, Launched out of Mattituck, & headed for the same area where opening day was an easy limit. Today, only three days later, was a different story. We did manage a limit of 6 good fish, but it was a struggle hunting around in the mid sound dense fog looking for a consistent bite. Long story short, I'm glad to have that DEC launch facility, but also glad I only use it a couple times a season on the weekend when my son comes out. All & all a good day, don't get to fish with him as often as we once did.
