Transducer Interference on Plane

So I have a 26 foot boat with twin outboards. The transducer is mounted about 5 feet behind the outboards on the bottom of the hull between the trim tabs. Its a v style hull and then the hull goes up a few inches 5 feet before the outboards (If that makes sense). When I get the boat on plane I get interference. The transducer is even with the bottom of the hull. Since I only get once chance to reposition the transducer since I dock the boat should I move it up slightly so the transducer is more in the cavity of the hull or move it further off the hull?

Had a similar problem., angling the bottom of the TD very slightly in to the stern made a difference. Good luck.
