What a beauty, talk about a once in a lifetime fish. Saw the same pic today, no mention of tackle. Wonder if he was fishing light with jigs, or a traditional heavy black fish rod.

When you're not retired and catching fish like that. That means your priorities are well off.
As for the guy in the picture. It looks well deserved. Definitely not trying to make himself
something that he's not.

He boated 12 hours to the fishing grounds. Fished for forty eight hours and drove twelve hours
back to the dock. You see, that's him. 🙄👍

But if it's a state record, I would want to bring it in for a certified scale weigh in. ?
