I wanted to check out Black Hole rods. Due to covid, they were on back-order.
I just received and email that they are re-stocking: Back in stock! (blackholeusa.com)
Not sure who would be interested.

Sounds good to me! Quality product, rep'ed by a solid man in Kil Song. I've owned three (so far), and find them to be really excellent. Highly recommended!

I have quite a few that I wrapped.
Great rods, a bit pricey, but We are worth it. 😉?

Ugh, why did Kilsong's shop have to be so close to my home... ?
Another Blackhole blank I picked up on my way home a few days ago.
A Challenger Bank 791UL.

With a Daiwa Tatula SV TW, 13lb drag out of the box.
Can't wait for the spring Striper run. ?

Nice, I asked cuz the ball sinker didn't look too big when the halibut came up on the strip bait. ?Usually strip of bait on jigs help. But I found some jigs with tease don't need strip of bait on hooks. Al Gag jigs worked for halibut or ling cod as good as baited jigs. I don't use striped of bait on Taifun jigs for seabass as the jigs are as good as baited jigs.

I built on 2 Challenger Bank series blanks. A 701L spinner that has handled tog up to 10#, and a 731M acid wrap that I have yet to fully put to the test on a big fish. I really like them a lot. Very nice bend and sensitivity.
