Silicone Skirts in Bulk / Alibaba?

Hi Pete,
Happy New Year. Knowing you have a wealth of knowledge wanted to ask this question to you and the group. I'm looking to purchase silicone skirts in bulk. Skirts for fluke jigs primarily. I have been buying skirt packs (10x to a pack) for between $1.90- $2.50 a pack.

Doing some searching I'm seeing vendors on Alibaba that are selling the same exact skirts for $.05-.08 each, based on a 100 ct min. I have no experience buying anything from Alibaba express and wondering if you or anyone else has experience buying from these sources? Or do you know of any other sources that sell in bulk?

Thank you
SP

Stay away from Ali Baba if you can but for the life of me I can not recall what led me to say that. Go look at others on Ebay . I bought from this 10 Bundles 50 Strands Silicone Skirts Fishing Skirt Rubber Jig Lure Mixed Color | eBay and from SILICONE SKIRT TABS/MATERIAL - 8850 Plasma Series | eBay and from 5" Fishing Squid Skirt Hoochies Octopus Trolling Soft Lure Crinkle Shape lot NEW | eBay
Just about all of them are coming from the chicoms but that is the way it goes.

I too suggest you avoid Alibaba. I think pequa1 is using the same source I do in his last link to Ebay.

Look good, but close to twice the price of the link that I provided to E-pray. The price on my link was 38 cents per skirt (for the 100 pc lot), this new one is between 54 and 60 cents per - at what, 5 pcs per lot? Even the 100pc lot looks to be $54.

Of course if you just need just a few pieces and so don't want to go for a 100pc order, then why not? 54 cents per won't break anyone's bank. But at the rate I seem to lose them, 100 pcs only lasts a couple of seasons or so. Therefore for me, it makes sense to go for the lesser-cost alternative.

I’ve bought in bulk from Alibaba. No issues at all.
