Went on my last Haddock trip. Again, the boat limited. It was nuts. The fishing this far north has changed dramatically in the past 20 years. In the early 90's you could never find a haddock, but had no issues with cod. Today, the haddock are everywhere, and the cod are not. Had a good year fishing, looking forward to 2021!
Last fishing trip for a while. Stick a fork in me, I'm done until May.

I am glad you had a great day Scott and I am super jealous. Haddock are my all time favorite on the plate.
You asked in a different thread about catching Haddock on LI and I already responded about a brief shot we had in 2018. Certainly there were more available to us on eastern LI over 50 years ago when I was a kid,. However, even in the heyday of Cod, Haddock, and real "snowshoe sized" winter flounder we never caught Haddock in those numbers. Cod, yes on many trips, but never the bonanza on Haddock I read about from Eastman's.
So, enjoy your New Year's feast!!
