I'm hoping someone can help. A few years back, Captain Neil built several rods for me on various CTS blanks. The other day, my CN702 snapped in half when I set the hook. I can't contact him by phone and can't find anything on the internet. Any suggestions?

I guess I'm stuck as far as any type of warranty?one year ..and what it would cost you to send it back not worth it,,, I deal with them direct and had two blanks replaced ,,depending on how old they are free or $60.00 ..they ship with my orders ...I cant warranty that blank ..I didnt buy or sell it..

MJD - Capt. Neil retired from rod building. I suggest you call CTS in New Zealand and explain your case. I have a good friend that got a new blank shipped to him N/C, even though it was way more than a year since being built.

If I can get a blank from them, I'll find someone to wrap it. Otherwise, I think I'm done with custom rods. There's a lot of nice stuff on the rack.
