Lots of bunker, nothing else

Hit the town beach both sides of low, no weed, slight sweep as we left. Nice looking low surf with the SW breeze but no birds, but plenty of bunker usually at 100 yards out but occasionally within casting range. Evidently nothing much on them although I admit eschewing the teaser for distance and not wanting just shad or micros. Gave up after 2 hours. With tomorrow's storm, this could be it for me as I fish with the hope of dinner and not to only hook baby fish.
