Fished with Capt Paul Bruno on the Elizabeth II for blackfish again today, forecast was for SW 15-20 with gusts to 25 in the afternoon so we left the dock at 5 , on the piece by 6:30 , lock n load ! Boat limit by 9:30 n headed in before the blow. Had 9 to 6 lbs for the box.

Pardon my ignorance but what's the deal with the orange sinkers? is this similar to the yellow sinkers we used years ago when there were actually winter flounder available in our area?

BTW, nice job on the Tog. Capt. Paul knows his stuff!

Actually, now that I think about it I have seen someone else use orange sinkers as well when tog fishing.
Got to use any advantage you can to put them in the box!!!
