sea lettuce was annoying (Wednesday) and the W to E sweep started just before the sun started going down. In two hours I caught one little schoolie. Perhaps another half dozen surfcasters on our town beach, all but one casting tins and bucktails. With the wind in the face I was using a Kastmaster, not enough distance with a buck.
