Weatherman Got it Right-Blackfish-Albies ect

Fished the Port Jeff area today. What a pleasure that the weatherman finally got it right. Sound was dead flat. Current was running a little bit.

Picked through many small black fish but got my legal limit. Three nice blacks about 18 inches each. One nice sea bass about the same size. Loads of small sea bass in the mix

Pods of albies were everywhere from Mt Sinai all the way west to Smithtown Bay. They were shallow and deep. Inside Port Jeff as well as North towards middle grounds.

Finished the day jigging at B11. A few small blues and loads of large porgies on the jigs.

Nice enjoyable day. Not fighting 3 to 5 ft waved and a hard moon current.
