MTK Where are the bass?

Loads of stripers yesterday towards sunset from the Point and to the west for several miles. Fish were from the "breakers" (no surf yesterday) and out to about 30 feet deep. Pods were moving around fast. Some pods were very big. Others just a dozen or so bass. Couldn't tell what they were eating, but whatever it was was small. Only thing in my arsenal that they'd bite was unweighted Albie Snaxx. Pods like this have been around for at least two weeks now.

Did you notice if the water was clear or did it look like coffee? Sorry about your reels

Thanks. Yesterday, the water on the South Side was very clear where I ran. Last week when I was out there was a lot of muddy water around the breakers. But yesterday was so calm, I actually drifted too close to the beach for comfort. Yesterday, there should have been some good shots for you surf guys, especially to the west below the houses on the cliffs. Some pods were around those offshore rocks.
