Since the most of the fish driving me nuts yesterday were small, I broke out my last chrome Striper Strike 2500, my favorite "rat trap."
Well it worked, most "interest" in the lure this AM resulting in a solid strike. Got 5 from 15 - 18" off the boat and then another 17" fish from the dock after tying up...
Supposed to be pouring tomorrow so I'll be taking the morning off...

Ain't the rain (blue), I fish in the rain all the time, but look at all the 10 kt barbs on this weather map's wind vanes for the forecast in a couple of hours. It's bad enough when the bass tail slap the plug back at me, but I don't like it when the wind does...

Already gusting to almost 30 MPH here, and they're talking about gusts approaching 50 MPH in a few hours. 8,000 out of power in Southern Maine as the storm moves Northeast...

So yeah, I'm keeping the foul weather gear down in the cabin today...

@cany, @movetheboat - I'll give you the boat keys if you want to fish today. Wind is supposed to peak in a few hours...
