Headed out on a 7-12 trip this morning to see what all the fuss was about. It was like mid summer fluke today in the bay, we had fair share of shorts and the ones that were 17-18" were pretty fat and a decent amount of keepers. Action all day, my friend got his limit and I had 2 keepers. Donated some tackle to the bottom, guess another trip to store is in order ?. Fished from the bridge and to the east. Not sure if the water in the bay cooled enough to have a new body of fish move in, but it was nice to see.

That's a great day and somewhat of a surprise to hear!You're not kidding!! My friend was using a hi-lo, 2 plain hooks with gulp and killing it! I couldn't get them to take the bucktail, I had one keeper on teaser and the 2nd was caught when I switched over to a plain hi-lo also. Fluke skin worked great as well.
