My 2013 115 HP Yammie makes a very quiet, but distinct, single "toot" when I shut her down. Just like the noise a hooter buoy makes. I make believe it's a "Lines In" blast...

Anyone else hear this on theirs? Any idea what it is?

My guess would be the cooling water draining down, sucking air in to replace it.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. It's definitely an air "issue". I was very observant today and although I had no "hoots" I did notice air noises when a hoot would occur, and it's just about the right timing for water drain. The Force is no longer with the p-tube when the noise occurs...

Just as a final item, it's definitely an "engine is sucking in some air thing", and it is more "hooterish" when the humidity is high, like on foggy mornings.

I'm not losing any sleep over it, it's actually becoming a very soothing and reassuring toot...
