Jumped on the james Joseph out of huntington the morning, wasn’t lites out fishing the porgies chewed away I put about 15 decent size in the cooler for the smoker, released fish that were legal but to me to small let them grow up a little ended the trip with a nice sea bass there were only a handful caught but they were nice size mine took the pool and is gonna taste good for dinner stay safe everyone

Do you scale them and smoke then whole, or filet them and leave the skin on? Do you use a charcoal grill/ smoker or something electric. Perhaps a more mild wood like apple or go for the gusto with hickory? Thanks for any info.
