Left the dock at 5 AM with Frank P set two rods out and we found fish. Only today no slot fish they were over and under up to 33.5. There was no shortage of fish as the screen was stacked. Had enough of that and moved back east, started jigging bucktails and I hookup right away. Frank followed with a 18.5 this continued until the tide fell off. No keeper fluke today. What was annoying was the size of the Dogfish. Ocean size 3.5 / 4.0 ft. Just peeling line we boated about three and broke off at least 4 or 5 of them along with a few big skates. By mid morning the idiot fleet was coming out, and we all know they have no regard for boats drifting. With the back bay being narrow it becomes annoying so we packed it in. Will try again mid week. Same issue yesterday. Fluking was tough. Hooked a fish and folks all over us like ants at a picnic. And 7 feet of water can only produce without 10 outboards at full bore!!!
