I remember when I was a little guy under 10, which would have been over 65 years ago, my uncle kept a skiff at a fishing station at the Bayville bridge, at the time their was an old guy who would take a row boat out at nite & troll worms under the bridge & score with big bass.

Used to fish there when I lived in Locust Valley. Now there is no where to park....love the town for making it impossible to fish. But the bite was always good - there were night I would catch on almost every cast

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Norm made me my first custom made rodsโ€ฆโ€ฆ. Three if I recall. I still have one of them. He was a nice guy, not much of a rod builder as I would learn later in life, but he was a nice guy. My memory may be off but I think he used to hit the sauce pretty good??
