So I recently purchased a St. Croix Mojo Surf spinning rod (2 piece) and when I go to put it together the ferrules don't sit close. I never had this issue with any other two piece and I don't want to force it too much. I reached out to St.Croix also and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Any ideas?

9'...Upon further investigation several people said they started making them like that after following suit with Tsunami. It's so they don't come lose from wear. Like I said first time I've seen that with a two piece so I was just double checking.

Ok, I have a 11’ Mojoe. Ten years now, nice rod, the handle a bit short to butt , yet is okay... cellie...

Haven't caught anything yet, just had blues rip up my bass assassins. Yea little short to pop when using a pencil, but I'll make due.

Yes they are made like that so in time with wear they will still have room to seat together
