The way my season is going....

Nice! I would need the skate flag - 'cause I fish the South Shore. Not permitted to do the Sea Bass thing and the Fluke Fishing just flat out stinks so far this season. I guess next year I'll get the wire line rods tuned up, reels cleaned and refreshed, fresh wire spooled, etc. I guess I'll be a striped trash fishing again. What's the alternative? None that I see.

Because for the past few seasons the South Shore May/June fluking just flat out s*cks.

Actually last trip out we caught a big sea robin. A friend is going to try it.

I'm fishing with a heavy glass cod rod and a jigmaster spooled with 30 pound Ande pink.
I was over gunned. All did I need was a seaboy spooled with 20 pound mono Ande pink
and a UglyStik for ocean fluking. The one guy says to me if you get this fancy reel and rod
spooled with braid and use expensive sandworms you are going to catch them better
and that's when I said to myself. If I catch them any better I'll be committing a crime.





I caught a ten pound fluke. You turned me into a fairy. 😉
