Misfit Kayak Putting in Work

There's a bite around Shinny. It's just a little inconsistent. Where you get them hasn't changed, but when and how seems to change daily. I'm getting bass to around 29" in good numbers about every other day. The "inbetween" days might see one bass and ten bluefish. Hit-or-miss. I'm trolling plugs, but I know they're getting them off the ocean beach and off the Shinnecock jetties. Tons of bait around - everything from bunker and sand worms to squid.

This morning was a mix. Four bass to 26 inches and four blues to 24 inches. Pretty morning.View attachment 20305
