Cocktails

Ventured outside this morning to see if there was life by breezy point jetty. Was there about two weeks ago and it was dead. A little rough at the inlet this morning. But once you got past rips it was ok. Saw bird life and investigated. Not a lot of marks on screen but there were some cocktail blues feeding on spearing. Not big schools but there were several areas of small schools. No bass. Caught about a dozen small blues. A lot of fun on light spinning outfit. Went inside by bridge to try for fluke but it was wind against tide and it didn’t pan out. Fun morning. Good to see life at the jetty. Hopefully stripers pass thru soon and porgies will enter in another three or four weeks
