Seakeeper Ride Expands to 43 New Boat Models for 2026 | BoatTEST
Seakeeper Ride becomes standard on 43 new boat models across 15 brands for 2026, setting a new standard for onboard stability and control.
I wonder if they would work on a 21' boat.My boat is a "small" 23, so if I had to guess, yes. I have a thru hull transducer so no issue. You would have to inquire.
Also, I have a pair of transducers coming of the starboard and port chines. Would these interfere with that?
My boat is a "small" 23, so if I had to guess, yes. I have a thru hull transducer so no issue. You would have to inquire.I have heard lots of good things about this system. What I have not heard is will this device also work on straight inboards? All the installations I see are on outboard powered hulls.
Couple of my friends were amazed when we did the "on /off " test and they were impressed. Really notice when I am underway and passengers decide to all end up on one side. You feel it start to lean and it quickly stops and settles back to stable. I ran to just a bit east of Shinnecock and returned to Moriches around noon on Saturday as it started to build MUCH earlier than predicted, both wind and wave height, but was able to keep comfortable and at speed (27MPH) as the Seekeeper kept my boat on track through some mixed up water.

All the installations I see are on outboard powered hulls.Yes, they can be installed on inboards. You need some space, and the electrical power requirements can be somewhat substantial. They are not inexpensive either.
I am curious how much the system would run. They came standard on my boat, so I am not sure of the price, or the price to retrofit. Reach out to these guys and find out. I had some dealings with them and they were very helpful.
My 24 ft CC doesn't have trim tabs and when the crew shifts around, it becomes an issue. I'm sure the Seakeeper would work wonders, but is it comparable to electric or hydraulic tabs price wise?
I am curious how much the system would run.For vessels 23’ - 30’ total retrofit installation would run approximately $31,000

I don't know about the price to install, but price for the system is on the Seakeeper web site. The approximate cost for both can be found here……
For vessels 23’ - 30’ total retrofit installation would run approximately $31,000Seekeeper Ride, NOT Seekeeper units is what we are discussing. Huge difference.
New boat manufacturers are increasingly including, primarily as an option, Seakeeper.
Here is a a guide to approximate costs relative to vessel size.

I am curious how much the system would run.For a 24’ boat to add trim tabs is probably in the neighborhood of $2,500

I wonder if they would work on a 21' boat.Take a look at the link below. From their own literature it seems they may begin installations at 23’ and up. If you are that interested you should probably check with them directly.
