Since I rarely fish on the freshwater scene, I have only caught a handful of Smallmouths in my lifetime. Still, every one of those battles were memorable. They are extraordinarily tough fighters. And that fish in the video is a real beauty!!

Never a doubt. A Smallie is a bruiser as opposed to the over hyped Largemouth, most overrated fish on the planet...

LOL George, I didn't know they were closed either. Obviously they weren't enforcing it so what's the point?
