The season in Jersey doesn't open until 22-May, but I've been doing well at many back bay spots, keeping socially distant of course ! Hooked up nearly every cast this morning - they were slamming spearing but white gulp worked too. How's the action in NY ? It appears that little offshore pressure may bode well for us this season. . . . Stay well

OK fished the outgoing and the beginning of the incoming tides had 5 fish on the outgoing 3 of which were keepers and 1 keeper on the incoming.Better start then last year hope it lasts.Oh ya there were 2 party boats fishing in the bay with fares thought they were shut down!

I took a shakedown cruise yesterday and here in Shinnecock it was rising tide with SW wind so major wind against tide. Saw some guys fishing but no action. I didn't wet a line but hoping tomorrow or sunday I can get out with wind/tide in my favor when falling
