First trip - Covid Therapy

I made my first trip of the year today. Launched at the second ramp in Stony Brook Harbor. High tide, went all the way up in the back and spent some time in a couple of favorite areas. No Bass for me. I did hook a ~16" fluke on a 6" broken back Chicken Scratch Gags Grabber. Barbs all crushed, one head shake at the boat is all it took to free itself. Bright blue skys, light breeze wasn't the best set up. On the way back to the ramp, the wind came up and sky clouded over. Had to try one last thing. Set up a drift on the main channel with the outgoing tide. I landed a fish or had a blowup on each drift on a new to me top water bait. Landed a half dozen 14" to 24". Boat ran great and it was awesome to catch them on topwater !
