Lifetime sportsmans (NY)

I turn 70 mid-month, next June. At that point I will order the lifetime sportsmans license which for $65. gives me lifetime hunting, big and small, lifetime turkey, lifetime bow and lifetime freshwater. I only started hunting when I was 54 or so and the price of the lifetime then was (and still is for an oldster) not economical. When my local lakes covered over in hydrilla and other crap I stopped freshwater fishing over a dozen years ago and got into saltwater kayaking. My question is does that lifetime license take effect for the entire month of June, or only from birthdate on ? Anyone know ?

Nice !! Didn't get a deer this past season but still have venison from 2018 and the other night still tasted fresh. And thanks, you were a help, and when things settle down (September ?) I will give that number a call but I also suspect its by birthdate and not birth month.

and another question for anyone who bought the Lifetime Sportsmans recently. If your birthdate comes before August 1 like mine does, and you are on DEC records as having been issued hunting licenses, do you automatically get the hunting license in the mail in August or do you have to call anyway ?

Still another question on the Lifetime. I of course have hunting licenses but never purchased a bow hunting license due mainly to my luck getting on a shotgun only nuisance permit. I have taken the bow safety course. When I get the lifetime license, will I automatically get bowhunting along with small and big game and freshwater fishing ?
