Jamaica bay

Went out Tuesday morning and fished near Floyd Bennett field area. Read a lot of bait and fish but the fish weren’t on the feed. Was using bucktail and swim shad. Only had one fish hit swim shad twice but didn’t hook up. It was incoming tide. No bunker on top. They were down in water column. It was just nice to be out on a rare sunny day
