fished the incoming for a couple of hours this morning. no sweep, no weed, but sunny out at first and wind at our back seems to guarantee no fish. Former points are gone. Some of the beach had those "cliff-like" areas instead of a berm... We just used lures but the other few guys we encountered were fish-less as well, unless you count small skates. another day...

this time I caught one whole schoolie !! the only hit either of us got. (Yes, separate trucks.) Dead low tide on the town beach, birds crashing the bar 200 yards out, stiff NW wind allowed me to use a 9' Lami and 1/ 1/2 oz buck but the schoolie hit the white deer tail with some flashaboo handmade teaser. Minimal weed, no sweep, and as we left at 1030 people were arriving but social distancing and even masks were the norm. beautiful day, just lacking fish.
