Does anyone have any information regarding the floating docks at Forge river and Port Jefferson ramps? Not sure if the town crews are placing them in the water do to the restrictions on 'necessary projects'.

Just saw on another site that the Governor of Michigan has banned power boating during the virus. Launch sites & boat ramps remain open for kayaks, canoes, & paddle boards because they promote exercise. None of this makes any sense to me.

Heh heh. Good for him. I fish from a kayak almost exclusively, lol. However I like to back my pickup down the boat ramp and launch since I don't bring home any sand that way. Regardless, I doubt my town makes any distinction so I am shit out of luck too.

It's on the DEC web site that the use of all DEC owned boat launches is suspended for recreational boaters.
