Trouble shooting
Hey I keep crushing my privates during exercise. What should I do.
I get paid for that jock. Go figure it out yourself.
Listen up! I like to play with dolls to but you have to understand.
I didn't end up here because I have money. Now be on your way.

In baseball, a switch hitter is a player who bats both right-handed and left-handed,
usually right-handed against left-handed pitchers and left-handed against right-handed pitchers.

He came out of the ring in the first and second round in a
conventional stance. In the third round he found it necessary
to come out southpaw. He just converted.
From his southpaw stance he put himself in a position
where he needed to put that front foot behind him. From
his natural instinct from years of boxing he found it necessary
to FIGHT his way out. This is not converting. If he stays in
that position. He converted again.
What happens to a boxer after so many years is he forgets
the difference from left and right hand. The power becomes
equal, as for performance, this is going to be the deciding
factor that will make him now ambidextrous.
He’s going to make some girl really happy.

Me and my bud were at the bar had a couple of beers with some buffalo wings
and watched the Bundesliga.
What does Clinic mean in sports?
1. basketball clinic - a meeting at which basketball players receive special evaluation and instruction.

They're not even close. They lack stamina. In lame man's term. They're dogging it.
What makes you want to do this?
I played football and everyone got really big and I stood the same size.
You like contact sports.
What do you do before a fight? How do you prepare?
Just a little bread and water. Now get in!

I walked in the gym.

I am always early. I help set up the equipment.
I own my first pair of hand wraps. Everyday I practice wrapping my hands.
When I'm done shadow boxing I hit the heavy bag for two or three rounds.
I have a jump rope. It's in my gym bag. I skip rope for two or three rounds.
When I'm done skipping rope. My last work out instructions is 30 push-ups,
3 sets of 10 and 30 sit-ups 3 sets of ten. I am now done with my work out.
I am now at the gym for 1 and 1/2 months.
I left the gym.
I still have to do my road work. I goto the track and do 2 miles.
Now I go home.

I'm now at the gym over 2 months. I'm bothering the coach to let me
spar. He's ignoring me and brushing me off. He says "I'll let you know."
It's over 4 months now. There's a new face in the gym. I doubled my
push ups and sit ups. I doubled skipping rope and have another bag
added to the routine. I run at the track every day 3 miles.

This is when it starts to get really good. It goes on for another 6 months.
I'm at the gym for 6 months. The coach tells me. Bring a mouthpiece tomorrow.
You're going to be sparring. I'm happy and excited. This is going to be my first time.
On the way home I stop by my dear friends house and invite him to come and watch.
It's the next day. My friend is at the gym. The coach brings me to the locker and helps
me pick out a cup and head gear. I put it on. He laces up my gloves and lays the vaseline
on my face heavy. He puts it all over my gloves. He does the same for my sparring partner.
My sparring partner is a major competitor. He has far more experience than I do. We
stand opposite corners. The coach is in his corner giving him instructions. I'm standing
there by myself. He brings me in the center of the ring, extends his arm and with his fist at
my face says good and loud. "KEEP OUT OF HARM'S WAY!"
I get back in my corner. The buzzer sounds. We start to mix it up. About a minute left
and I step smartley and snap a jab. The competitor comfortably slips to the side, bends
at the knees and shoots from the hip. Pops me right in my belly with an uppercut. He
steps back. I step forward and take a knee. I got winded. I held my head up and arm up
to let them know I'm okay. I played football and this is common. After a couple seconds
I stood up with both hands in the air jumping up and down. Ready to continue. The coach
let the round finish and started us up again on round 2. We did our thing and the round
ended. The coach took the competitors gear off and then assisted me. His exact words
were. Now you know what you need to work on.
For the next month I didn't spar and just trained hard. STAY TUNED! 🙂

It's a month later. Put your stuff on, you're boxing today. Oh no! What did I do wrong?
Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I was being tested on reaction. They're showing me how
to breath properly and conserve energy. The importance of being relaxed and not tense.
I box 2 or 3 times a week for only 2 rounds.
My BFF decides to join the gym. He is taking it for a high school summer school gym credit.
We had a great time. I think this was the most fun we ever had together. After a couple of months
he earned his gym credit and left. He had other plans. In between all of this. What kind of hand
wraps are you guys using. I already been through three pairs, We buy the ones from ringside.
When you register with the ABF they send the catalog to your house. Are you registered?
Yeah I have it at my house. I'm 17, it's ordered with a credit card. I don't even have a job.
I have to ask one of my parents to buy it for me. My jumprope split in half. I got a new one
and it's to long. I keep tripping over it. My one friend at the gym says. Just tie a knot in it.
It doesn't have to be tight. It has to be right. Problem solved. When I picked up the new rope
I decided to get a better mouthpiece. I complain to the coach that my lip keeps getting cut.
I never had this problem before. In a couple of seconds. Let me see. You're not listening to us
This is the right mouthpiece. Problem solved!
The club fighter walks in. 🙂

Spring break is at the same time as the Golden Glove finals.
I have no clue. This is all new to me. We have to tell you. 😉
Gallico rented the Madison Square Garden for the tournament to be held on March 28, 1927.
I'm leaving for vacation. HUH WUT? I'm back. HUH WHO?
The next couple of weeks were very difficult.

I have a couple of other friends come and go.
To be honest with you, they didn't even last a
week. There priorities are elsewhere. I start to
spar every day and from out of nowhere I now
box 3 rounds two times a week. I notice at three
rounds my stamina isn't where it should be.
I decide to run 4 miles everyday. It pays off
big time. I'm holding my own in the ring and
my confidence is going up. I'm doing pretty
dam good! The coach asked me to get in the
ring with the club fighter. Everytime I through
punches. This is what I got back in return.
This went on for a good two weeks and after
that my speed and delivery increased. We
started to fight and he now had to FIGHT me
off. I AM NOW AT THE GYM NINE MONTHS.
The coach introduces me to the speed bag.
He calls me in the ring for first time with the glove pads.

Welcome to day one. Keep your chin down and
your guard up. Look up. Pushing my elbows
close to my body. RELAX! jab-step-jab-pivot
double up-good-add a little spice-JAB-POW!
GOOD-2 rounds dun out.

I broke my nose. How do you know? I looked in the mirror.
What did you do? The same thing I always do. I kept boxing
just like everyone else in the gym that broke their nose.
I went to the E.N.T. to get my ears flushed. After the examination.
You experienced trauma. You need surgery. 20 years and 3 kids
later. Thanks for letting me know.
There's a fella at the gym who has a twin brother. Italian guy but
as American as they come. He's been boxing now for quite some
time. I went to watch one of his bouts. Sometimes he would win
by decision. A majority of the time he would knock out his opponent.
He was a real bad axx dude.
It happens that I don't see him in the gym anymore. I'm new here
and I mind my business. The club fighter walks in that I had PERMISSION
to spar with. I'm there skipping rope like the goofy kid that I am. DUH!
The coach says to the club fighter from across the gym. You heard
about the twin. Yeah he went pro how's he doing? He should of stood
another year amature. He would of got better recognition and made
more money. He won about 5 fights. 30 grand a fight. Why don't
you ask the kid if he wants to spar with you. Do you want to get in
the ring? Yeah sure! DUH
Later on someone in the gym tips me off that he has a televised
fight this weekend. I tell my BFF on the DL. He remembers the
pro from when he was there. I'm at home by myself watching with
popcorn. I notice the ref. I know that guy. He comes to the gym. He
is also a amature boxing trainer. The guy from our gym wins.
It's the following week and he walk in in the gym.
He goes straight to Bruno and nudges him. They are both
staring at me and says to Bruno. Can you spar with me?
Bruno shakes his head and his finger NO. Then he says to
me. Can you spar with me? I was flattered beyond imagination.
OF COURSE! But first most important. I have to get permission
from the coach.
DON'T EVER GET IN THE RING WITH ANYONE WITH OUT
PERMISSION FROM YOUR COACH.
About two weeks passes by and the club fighter shows up
with the ref from the bout. This way there's an understanding
on what is happening.
Later on as I was walking and thinking. Imagine if I would of asked
him for money. The next day there would of been 100 people lined
up outside for the job. Resume, diploma, references. LOL ! !
