The only fish I eat out of freshwater are trout and walleye. I tried smallmouth bass once and it was mush. One thing is sure, they fight better than a smallmouth.My in-laws just bought a place in Naples. I will research to see if I can find them there. Early rumor says yes, possibly on golf courses.

I just returned from a week in the sunshine state and after two blow outs I managed to get in 4 hours in the Everglades in search of my first Peacock Bass. Had quite a day including this beauty.Good going. Nice!

My in-laws just bought a place in Naples. I will research to see if I can find them there. Early rumor says yes, possibly on golf courses.When in Naples book a trip with Fishunt charters in Everglades city.capt Wayne has a 18 flats boat . Wife and I fished with him last year and are going again soon. Highly recommend him
