Picked up a fillet of salmon and 1 of what I’m told was black cod and ran them thru the smoker yesterday for Christmas Eve snacks
The pieces of salmon that look dark are not burnt or oversmoked. I sprinkled ground black pepper on them
I also had smoked fresh fish for Christmas Eve. I had a healthy harvest of local herring and gave to a friend who knows how to bring them to perfection.Will be eating these and others in wine sauce and onions for months to come. I am indeed a lucky boy. Buon Appetito.
Well I went and visited my friend Frank at Claws in West Sayville and picked up an awesome fillet of salmon for the feast of the 7 fishes on Christmas Eve
Came out pretty damn good and going to be to tough not to finish it before tomorrow ?
