Learned Colleagues: My Foodsaver Professional II is giving me fits and I think it's time to retire it. Anyone have any replacement suggestions?

Thanks,

We don't have a "Cooking Gadgets" Form so I was torn between this Forum and "Catch and Cook". I use my Foodsaver to freeze Meat and Fish. I could pull the move that others like to use and put it in multiple forums, but will gladly cede to your infinite wisdom...

I am going to say any foodsaver brand will be just fine. I had 2 different ones. First one broke from me dropping it. Now I have the gamesaver deluxe. It has not given me a problem in 8 years of heavy use.

The only difference in the gamesaver models are the features it has. IMO any gamesaver brand will fit your needs just fine.

Got ours from Kohls with a 30%off coupon. My wife has a better touch with it than I do but it works fine.

I've been using this one I picked up at Costco. I also use the heavier bags from Costco.
