Nice to see some of my old NE friends.
Let me introduce myself, I'm Bob aka likeitreallyis
I am the founder of the ever famous "boat fish don't count" saying.
I am also the proclaimed winner of the ever popular Pilotfish vs. Banded Rudder fish discussion that has seemingly spread to every other social media.
I fish several times a week, all year round weather permitting.
I was a die hard surfcaster, but I have a disability that limits my ability to walk on uneven ground without pain, so I have converted to fishing from my boat and kayak mostly.
I have made and continue to hang out with good friends I mader on Noreat and glad to see so many ugly mugs still around.

Sorry getting used to the new format anyway two years back cleaning a squirrel's nest from my solar panel panels with a hockey stick, cheap ladder bent and I fell on my foot and had to have surgery to give me a heel bone back. 11 titanium screws drilled into the bottom of my foot, yes it hurts as much as it sounds. Was not able to walk for about a year. Walking now but painful on uneven ground, a fall from the jetty would probably be my last if I landed on it. Have a boat now, fish out of Mt Sinai even though boat fish don't count :-D. My die hard surf days are

Yikes - I remember you trying to sell us on solar panels all the time.Solar panels work great actually. Had a small fence installed around the panels to keep the critters out. LIPA pays ME every March. I generate more power than my house can use and I contribute to the grid. Anyone intyerested in doing this I cannot stress enough to BUY them and not lease. Peace.

Boat fish do count in my hood!! Comparing the fishability of the ledges by me to the jetty's of LI's South Shore is like comparing fishing from the walls of the Grand Canyon to fishing off of an Autobahn Bridge, but that's another topic...
