I live in this neighborhood for 57 years and I’ve never seen a turkey here. I’m not far from Hoyt Farm so I’m guessing that’s where it’s from

It is funny because my bother-in-law live on Raritan Bay on Staten Island and they're everywhere. They also have some of the biggest bucks I've even seen there.

I see them occasionally by the mall in lake grove.
In nissy there was a home on the bluff across from the charter school that had some that were mixed with white domestic. They also had peacock up till last year. I'd hear them from way out on the bay.
Caleb Smith has quite a few.

I live in the Pine Barrens right at the end of Middle Island. These things are like pigeons over here. They roam the streets and gather in flocks in the backyards flying over fence after fence as the feed.Miller Place rd has roundabout and they gather there in big numbers. Most mornings especially in the fall I here them in the woods across the street and find them on my front lawn in the morning. To tell you the truth I don't mind because they eat ticks so what the heck.
