Right outside close to Tobacco island but my granddaughter got a couple small bass/rockfish right off the dock,crabs are getting to decent size,got a half a dozen in my trap sent them back grow a bit..

Did u mean are the trout bait,no there eatable taste like weakfish,the ones m getting are about 14 to 16 inches long but they do get bigger,I release them all..

John - you headed down today (I think) - there's a crab festival this weekend if you're still gonna be around. I'm headed back tomorrow (Tuesday).




Sunday afternoon Friendly Rib Cooking Competition with judging @3pm Gates open at 2pm. Steamed Crabs/Corn/Wings start at 4pm along with the entertainment. Kids games, face painting & family friendly adult activities until 8pm. This is a Fundraiser for our New Restroom Project. Tickets must be purchased in advance!!! Blue claws what other kind are down there,not far at all on the yak,right outside the canal..

Just loaded 2 kayaks into the truck ...... running behind as usual. I'm heading south tomorrow. Macks, those Sea Trout look like some fun light tackle fishing ! Just purchased my fishing and crab pot permits.

Wish that was last weekend,I can't find anyplace that has steamed crabs,heck nobody even sells live crabs you got to catch your own..

Yup there scrappy lots of small bass around to,water is getting pretty warm hope that dosnt hurt the fishing to much,hot as hell down there..
