Did not like the fact they took that #7 horse down, the #1 Horse caused all that bumping and pushing.

I didn't like that the took Maximum Security down either, especially because it took away my pick 4. That being said, the stewards had to. It was tough to see from the head on replay but when Luis Saez drifted over at least three lanes (which I believe was inadvertent) it was about a half step away from potentially causing the largest horse racing catastrophe outside of the San Luis Rey Downs fire. The officials need to protect the field - both human and equine.
What horse racing needs is a national oversight board and uniform rules. Right now each state has their own rules, most of which are subjective. The stewards are allowed to play god in situations like this as it's based on their opinions and not a set of standards that are used across the board.
And regarding the #1 horse who did not object but probably should have given his proximity to the drifting of #7, he is one of Jason Servis' regular jockies. Jason Servis is the trainer of the #7 horse. Perhaps he didn't want to upset one of his key employers.
