We fished today. Daniel Tereso and myself were the only fishermen.
Daniel is surf fisherman in MA and he never caught tuna before.
My mission is to let Daniel catch his first tuna and my mission is completed.
He had 2 yellowfin and one 400 lb bluefin which was released.
We had hard time to locate big bluefin as no boats sailed last a few days due to weather.
I expect we are going to have good bites on Sat and Sun as weather is beautiful and we locate tuna today.

double header

tuna in the tuna stomach ?

three more anglers join on Sat and Sun.

We had 5 yellowfin on the Good Times out of Oregon Inlet, NC today, but big bluefin eluded us.
We decided to use only popping rods and jigging rods tomorrow. Benni got a hit on jig today, but he thought it was bottom 🙂
Our spirit is high for tomorrow.

I was at the restaurant in Islamorada with my friend and his family.
Yeah, he has nice stuff. How would you compare braid to mono
performance wise? It's similar to womens softball and major league.
One plays with a aluminum bat and the other uses a wooden. 😉

The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries has certified a new state record bluefin tuna. Retired Army General Scott Chambers of Townsend, Delaware, reeled in the 877-pound fish March 17 after fighting with the fish for 2 ½ hours off Oregon Inlet. Apr 9, 2018

This is a stones throw. 😉
