I agree with you, veal doesn't have much taste. It needs help from sauces.

Veal can't be beat when properly prepared and spiced, otherwise it can be an overpriced and bland meal. Best veal in Manhattan, Il Vagabondo on E 62 between 1st & 2nd Ave. No reservations so you may have to wait, but go ahead and play bocce on the INDOOR CLAY court!!

Used to have a great recipe for Veal Saltimbocca. Had it on another computer - computer blew up & took the recipe with it. Need to do another one soon. Love it this way.

I make veal Milanese fairly often. Used to make it with scallopini for my wife, these days I prefer it with a nice thick veal chop. Have one in the fridge right now, probably make it for dinner tomorrow night. Here is a pic.
