had a VEAL CHOP for the holidays in a reputable place, braised in a mushroom sauce, found it on the tasteless side and over rated and pricey... need a second opinion... cellfish...

Veal can't be beat when properly prepared and spiced, otherwise it can be an overpriced and bland meal. Best veal in Manhattan, Il Vagabondo on E 62 between 1st & 2nd Ave. No reservations so you may have to wait, but go ahead and play bocce on the INDOOR CLAY court!!

Used to have a great recipe for Veal Saltimbocca. Had it on another computer - computer blew up & took the recipe with it. Need to do another one soon. Love it this way.

I make veal Milanese fairly often. Used to make it with scallopini for my wife, these days I prefer it with a nice thick veal chop. Have one in the fridge right now, probably make it for dinner tomorrow night. Here is a pic.pJF3gPZXRPqasctZPw1j1w.webp
