Many moons ago I attended Yankee games 40xs a year. Over that time I saw a lot of great games. But these are by far my 2 favorites:

1976 Chris Chambliss #10 hit a pennant-winning home run and somehow me and my friends ended up on the field. The place went crazy.

2003 Aron Boon Hits the series-winning homer against the Red Sox. I got 2-tickets handed to me a few hours before the game and grabbed my friend and went to the game. The guy who gave them to me regrets it to this day!

No famous games, but I was at the 2012 ALCS game where Jeter broke his ankle.

They say because of the way the new stadium is built that the crowd noise is not as intense as in the old stadium.

Best memory ? Con Ed sent us kids from Queens to a Yankee weekday game ... Sitting in the nose bleeds in a 3/4 empty stadium watching Yanks vs Red Sox while sipping my Black Cherry Yukon Club Soda [ A &P brand } that was wrapped by Mom in Aluminum Foil to help keep cold ...

Priceless

1999 World Series Game 4 - Yankees sweep the Braves. Clemens vs. Smoltz.

Crowd gave Ted Turner and Jane Fonda a good razzing, lol.

Paul O'Neill running off the field in tears.
His father died earlier that day and he decided to play in his honor.

I was at the first game of the last series at the Stadium. I went with Sinkerbouncer. He gave me his ticket after the game, and for a laugh we put it on ebay. It sold for $40.

Another great one! There are many, that's for sure. As a NY or NJ Jet fan, I live on Yankee wins.
