Took a while to get settled, & squared away in Fla. for the winter. We are on the ICW about a mile north of Sebastian Inlet. Got the tin boat out of storage, & the old Johnson starts & pumps water after being dormant for 9 months, so that's a good thing. Been catching mostly jacks while floating around in the inlet.

Looks like heaven. Enjoy and post some fishing pictures so we can all know what we're missing!

Our old friend Gverb is a few miles north of you on Merritt Island. I Haven't been able to get him to log in here yet.

Fishing in the river has been less than good in the past few years. Snook fishing opens Feb 1, & the north & south jetties have become so crowded it's like Montauk "under the light" I gave both up years ago. We mainly fish the back canals for trout, & the inlet on the river side of the bridge. The ocean side of the bridge in the inlet can get sporty at times, & is no place for a 14' tinny with a 40yr old outboard.. We boat lots of jacks & a few pompano.
