Pete, thank you for putting this board back up! Once we get the traffic flowing again it should be an excellent place to find quality gear at great prices. I know I personally have several items I'm looking to part with. Since the holiday season is upon us, I'll probably need a few days to sort it all out, take pics and post.

Above you will find (3) pics of the Shimano Tranx 300A I'm selling. It's in perfect condition and only used 5-6 times for bass & tog. As you can see it has the power handle from Jigging World (now known as Tackle World) on it. I DO have the paddle handle for the reel as well. I also posted a pic of the specs on the reel above (Tranx 300A version) with the 5.8:1 gear ratio.

Brand new the reel retails anywhere from $250-300. I spent an extra $50 for the power handle because I think this reel is better equipped WITH it.

I'm asking $225.00 but I'll listen to reasonable offers...Let me know if you're interested.

So in bygone days this was always a popular place to move the tackle that is no longer feeling your love - or is just cluttering up your space. While I can spare to trade some whitetail tails I certainly don't have a hundred ! Besides some .223 ammo I have posted on shooting websites for sale, I am also selling my Hurricane Phoenix 140. (Replacing it with a new Hurricane Skimmer 128.) Can we advertise non fishing tackle here or should I wait for a more general marketplace forum ? I figure the Phoenix will go quick in the spring, but wanted yak fisherman to have a first shot.

Kayak sold today. (Still selling the aforementioned ammo though on the LI websites.)

My Hurricane Phoenix 140 for sale. 14’, 28” beam, weighs just 55 lbs. 325 lb. capacity
(Length contributes to speed and better tracking.) Not to be found at “big box” stores. Original owner, Purchased new at The Dinghy Shop in Amityville. Always garaged when not out on the bay.
Rigged for fishing with two flush mount rear of seat rod holders, Harken anchor trolley, ‘Scotty’ mount, all installed by The Dinghy Shop.
Worn seat has zippered pockets, and two additional rod or safety flag holders. Large bow hatch and cover, large rear well with smaller hatch above for cell, keys, etc.
Yellow for extreme visibility on the bay.
Extremely light weight for its size, the trylon or thermofoam ABS is at least 10 lbs lighter than other 14’ boats made of other plastics. Trylon does not fade in the sun and remains bright.
