Oh Yeah, it was Howling.

Reports yesterday were for strong winds but today was much harsher.
This may bring the snow down for a White Christmas.

I can't tell. Since I had new windows and siding installed outside noise is dampened greatly. I don't hear the wind unless it's blowing like a hurricane.

Looks like the wind dried everything up after last nights rain. I can take down the Christmas decorations.

I have mentioned this before but when I had my first boat, in the late 70s and through the mid 80s, I could sit out on the bay and be practically becalmed, even in the early afternoon. When I got a kayak, a decade or so ago, I could go out after dinner. And storms would come out of the northwest, so when Yankee Stadium went into rain delay I could dash out and just have time to mow the lawn. Now, its windy almost every day, sometimes even picking up AFTER dinner, storms come out of the southwest like Philly, and I get waves in my ABG pool ! And yes, up to 35 kt. gusts here today.
